Come out to the student organization tabling at Quadmania on Saturday from 1-6 pm to visit the SGA Election Board. We’ll have information about the candidates running as well as FREE TSHIRTS for the first 100 people to visit us and take our voter pledge. These shirts will be ALL the rage next week, and you’ll want to make sure you’re stylin’!

SGA candidate applications are due TODAY, March 26th, at 5 p.m. Is yours in yet?

Over the next week, our website will be going through a transformation to become a one-stop shop for everything you need to know about the candidates to get ready for elections on April 23rd-25th.

But before we start getting ready to vote, we’ve got to make sure we’ve got the best slate of candidates running…have you clicked submit yet?

The deadline to apply to run for an elected position in SGA has been extended until the Monday after spring break, March 26th at 5 pm!

So if you’ve been thinking about taking the plunge but need an extra nudge – this is IT! You’ve got four more days to fill out that application…what better way to spend an hour of your spring break?

In the meantime, if you’ve got any questions about SGA, the elections, the campaign process, shoot an email to cait13@umbc.edu. Hope we’ll be reviewing your application at 5:01 pm on Monday!

The application deadline for those interested in running in the 2012-2013 SGA Elections has been extended until Monday, March 26th, at 5 PM.

You can apply online at www.umbc.edu/studentvote.

Countdown/Update!

This week’s final candidate information schedule has been rescheduled to WEDNESDAY, March 14th, in the SGA Office, located in the Student Organization Space on the second floor of the Commons, still taking place at 12 pm. We’ll hear from a former Finance Board Chair about her experience campaigning for and working in SGA.

But since your free hour on Monday is now free, you should be sure to attend the Fee Forum, hosted by SGA in the Student Org Space. The Forum will provide important information about next years fees – information that’s important for all UMBC students to have, but especially for students who might be interested in running for and eventually leading SGA.

Finally, we’re counting down – are you?? Only 6 days until candidate applications are due! Better get on it…It’s time to run!
